WiMAX
The Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) standards define a technology for last mile wireless broadband access. As an alternative to wired broadband such as cable and DSL, WiMAX will provide multiple advantages for wireless Internet service providers (WISPs).
